The 2009 Browns Season: 5/16ths Miserable
October 17, 2009Ohhh, rat farts! OSU loses to Purdue
October 17, 2009The Buckeyes are playing Purdue today in West Lafayette (12 noon, Big Ten Network). Following last week’s offensive debacle we’ll all be watching to see if Terrelle Pryor can get things going for the Buckeyes’ offense. The Bucks are looking extremely thin at running back, with Boom Herron and Jamaal Berry both in Columbus, not making the trip. This leaves the Brandon Saine, Jordan Hall, and Jermil Martin as the only RBs in West Lafayette for the Bucks. Up front the Buckeyes have been fighting injuries and the flu but should manage.
Defensively, the Bucks look to continue to Rolle (see what I did there!), with senior captain Kurt Coleman leading the way. The defensive line continues to impress, and the linebackers are also good at playing tackle football. Special teams-wise expect Jon Thoma to continue doing his best Dave Zastudil impression, pinning opponents inside the twenty.
So hang out with us, discuss the game as it happens. Remember, no dirty words. Let’s just all get along and agree how much we hate a bunch of enginerds screaming “Boiler Up” over and over for a few hours. More like Pur-Dont!

I dont even know what to think right now, this is sad. Had you told me at the start of the season that we would have lost to Purdue, and barely beat Navy I would have laughed in your face. Now, seeing the way they have been playng up until this point, the way TP has regressed, the conservative play calling of JT, I don’t see us even beating Michigan, or even Penn State
Anyone who still thinks Pryor is a major college quarterback is not dealing with reality. Bauserman should take over, move Pryor to receiver, and get the best senior high school passer in Ohio for next year. Pryor’s decision making is horrible, and his accuracy is worse.
wow…lol
Denny.. you asked for it. Boiler Up!! (Junior, Civil Engineering, ha)
I was at the OSU-Wisconsin game last weekend and Bucks offense looked every bit as bad today as last weekend, although looked respectable in the 4th quarter today. Pryor is awful (@52, he isnt quick enough to play receiver, his strides are too long and I doubt how well he can make cuts). That said, they still have a really good shot against Iowa whos QB loves to hand the ball over more than Pryor
