Special teams, coaching cost Buckeyes in 24-21 loss at Penn State
October 23, 2016Browns fall to Bengals, 31-17, as Kessler leaves with concussion
October 23, 2016That sound you hear is Andy Dalton and A.J. Green licking their respective lips as they look at the Cleveland Browns’ inactive list and see Joe Haden’s name at the top. Haden, who reinjured his groin during practice two weeks ago, will miss his second consecutive week which means veteran windmill Tramon Williams will be forced to cover Green for the bulk of the Week 7 contest between the Browns and Cincinnati Bengals.
Joining Williams in the Cleveland defensive backfield will be such laureates like Brien Boddy-Calhoun, Jamar Taylor, Tracy Howard, and Ibrahiem Campbell. The Browns already enter Week 7 with the 30th-ranked pass defense, complete with the combined inability to rush the passer and successfully stay with receivers for any length of time. With the weather in Cincinnati being a beautiful 63 degrees and sunny, anything shy of seven catches for 100 yards and a touchdown for Green should be considered a win for Cleveland.
Among the rest of the Street Clothes Septuplets, Haden is joined by quarterback Josh McCown (shoulder), wide receiver Corey Coleman (hand), tight end Seth DeValve (healthy scratch), and a cavalcade of players most fans won’t recognize—cornerback Marcus Burley, fullback Dan Vitale, and linebacker Corey Lemonier.

Hayden is faking it. Ever since the rule change to where he could not grab, he has been having these injuries that don’t show up on any scan. He’ll be cut as soon as the browns can without taking a big hit.
Haden should be traded. He isn’t helping the team, and oddly he is one of the older guys. 0-7 means we should get a draft pick or two from him. Completely disappointing last two seasons. Wasted draft pick as well.. Don’t care if he had two decent seasons. Not someone who will make a difference in the future.
Hard to make an impact when you are injured. He has been injured the past two seasons. No one is going to give us a draft pick for an injured player (at least not until the offseason). Is what it is.
