August 9, 2016The kickoff to college football season may be just under a month away, but the Ohio State Buckeyes video and graphic team is already in mid-season form. With fall camp beginning Sunday with two practices — the morning practice for the newcomers; the afternoon for the upperclassmen (and some newcomers who will receive significant playing time — the school released their first highlight video of the Buckeyes first day of fall camp.
The highlight reel features sound bites from head coach Urban Meyer, co-defensive coordinators Luke Fickell and Greg Schiano, and plenty of footage of both plays and drills throughout the first practices of fall camp from all different players donning the scarlet and gray.
While their may be plenty of new faces (and numbers) on the field for Ohio State in 2016, the video and graphic team continues to do what they do best in producing fantastic videos in order to give the fans as much in-practice and in-game footage, both behind the scenes and during play, as they possibly can. With plenty of new faces and numbers on the field this year for the Buckeyes, two players that will stick out are quarterback J.T. Barrett and linebacker Raekwon McMillan. Not only are they two of the team’s best players, but they are two of the most experienced upperclassmen on the team as well. Nos. 16 and 5 will look familiar for all of Buckeye Nation this fall. And in the event you were wondering who made that one-handed snag, that was quarterback-turned-wide receiver Torrance Gibson, who was redshirted last season as a freshman.
If the video and graphic team is any indication, this college football season will yet again be a great one for the scarlet and gray. With Week 1 just under a month away, it will be here before we know it. Is it football season yet?
