November 6, 2015Following their only bye week of the season, Ohio State is back and set to host the Minnesota Gophers in primetime Saturday night in the Horseshoe. Wait, they only had one week off? It feels as though we haven’t had any football in Columbus for a little longer than that.
With J.T. Barrett’s OVI during Ohio State’s bye week last week, Cardale Jones will be the starting quarterback for the Buckeyes. Jones started the first seven weeks of the season before he lost the job to Barrett in Week 8.
The 4-4 Golden Gophers are unranked. They are coming off an unbelievable 29-26 loss to Michigan last week. Minnesota had two chances to score from the 1-yard line to take the lead with just seconds remaining, but got stuffed in the final seconds. They decided not to kick a field goal to tie the game, a gamble which did not pay off.
With yet another superb video from the Ohio State video and graphic team, hopefully the scarlet and gray will look as good on the field as their video and graphic team looks off the field.
The Buckeyes take on Minnesota Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
