Cardale Jones or J.T. Barrett? Urban Meyer still unsure
October 19, 2015Cleveland Browns Week 6 Winners and Losers
October 19, 2015Nike’s Kyrie 1s were already a hit with guards throughout the NBA thanks to their excellent balance of style and performance. And while Mo Williams may never wear these pairs on the court, he’s the proud owner of two of the rarer colorways to hit the market this past year.
According to Williams’ Instagram feed, Irving—to whom Mo will serve as a back-up come medial clearance—hooked the veteran up with a pair of his All-Star Kyrie 1s as well as the EYBL “Warhawk” colorway this past weekend. The former immediately flew off of the shelves upon release large in part to the excitement surrounding Irving’s play in addition to the Wolf Gray base and purple translucent sole. The latter is only owned by a lucky few people at the EYBL camp this past year, a group which took home a slew of extremely rare goods, never hitting shelves for the general public.
Teammates getting hooked up is a common thing as evidenced by J.R. Smith rocking LeBron 12s on the court the second he landed in Cleveland. While Mo had no shortage of well-plugged friends in Los Angeles—both Chris Paul and Blake Griffin are repped by Jordan Brand—his affinity for Nike gear may get a huge boost with the likes of Irving and James.

Nice.
Based on the investment that Dan Gilbert recently made this may be a more common occurrence.

I’m not really a sneaker-head, but I think these look awesome. Please put them on my Christmas list.
