J.T. Barrett, Buckeyes overcome slow start to win 38-10 over Penn State
October 18, 2015Watch: Josh McCown’s touchdown pass to tight end Gary Barnidge
October 18, 2015The Cleveland Browns will be without two of their top defensive backs on Sunday versus Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Cornerback Joe Haden (concussion, finger) and safety Tashaun Gipson (ankle) will miss the game versus Denver. Pierre Desir and Jordan Poyer are expected to start in place of Haden and Gipson.
Joining Haden and Gipson on the Week 6 inactive list will be receiver Dwayne Bowe, who will also be an inactive for the second consecutive game. Bowe, who has been a major disappointment since joining the Browns (with a $9 million guaranteed contract over the summer), will be in street clothes for the fourth time in six games, as a healthy-inactive against the Broncos. Bowe’s days in Cleveland have to be dwindling now, right?
Running back Isaiah Crowell, who was fighting through a toe injury and was listed as questionable for most of the week, will be active, as well as Robert Turbin, who will make his debut for the Browns on Sunday as expected.
Despite his incident with police earlier this week, Johnny Manziel will also be active for the Browns matchup versus Denver.
Quarterback Austin Davis, wide receiver Marlon Moore, linebacker Craig Robertson, and tight end E.J. Bibbs round out the list of inactives for Week 6.
