August 29, 2014Browns Preseason Game 4: Winners and Losers
August 29, 2014It may be a mystery as to when Johnny Manziel will step into the national spotlight on Sundays, but Johnny lovers (and haters) will surely get their fix of Mr. Football on Saturdays once again this fall.
As part of Nissan’s continuing partnership with the Heisman Trophy Trust, the Nissan Heisman House campaign will return this year with Manziel being their newest star. Joining Johnny as new additions to this year’s Heisman House campaign are Charles Woodson, Roger Staubach, Andre Ware, George Rogers, John David Crow and Billy Sims.
The new crop of Heisman winners will join the returning members of last year’s campaign, including Robert Griffin III, Ricky Williams, Marcus Allen, and Tony Dorsett. By season’s end football fans will surely be more than familiar with Nissan’s ads making light of college football’s most prestigious fraternity.
Here’s a sneak peak from Nissan at this year’s spots featuring Manziel.
“In ‘Roommates,’ Johnny and a few of his friends throw a wrench in Roger Staubach’s plan to have a classy party. Turn down for what?

Between these and the Johnny Jamboogie Snickers ad, Cleveland’s back-up quarterback will be getting plenty of face time on television whether he is on the field or not.
