Josh Gordon exploring options in the Canadian Football League
August 28, 2014On Michael Brantley’s surprisingly bad defensive metrics
August 28, 2014We all knew Johnny Manziel was going to bring attention to the Browns and have some endorsements. Let’s just say that I didn’t anticipate “Johnny JamBoogie.” It’s a funny ad though.

Does Sandler play WR? Can we sign him?
“He should be studying the playbook rather than making commercials.” – B-Holes
Please be good Johnny, Please be good Johnny….
As much as I’d like him to help us win, I’m also happy that he does commercials and keeps the Browns popular. He’s the only reason I get Browns updates here in Virginia.
Agree. I haven’t given in to the NFL ticket yet, so Johnny means more regional Browns games shown in Central PA. Which probably means more ruined Sundays for me…so I guess this is all a bit circular…but when the Browns are 0-0 it’s wonderful!
“He should be studying the playbook rather than making commercials”“He should be studying the playbook rather than doing blow in a Vegas bathroom”.
There, fixed that for you.
Bigger concern… 99% of the women in this advertisement look more NFL durable than Manziel.

Perfect self-mockery for the guy perceived as so cocky. If I could only not notice that, compared to Johnny, Doug Flutie’s shoulders look real wide.
I think perfect would have been him wearing a #3 jersey and continually holding the ball in the pocket and getting sacked while refusing to move around. Perhaps throw in an underhanded flip to the defense.
Then, he eats a snickers, the #3 transforms to a #2 jersey and he is mobile in the pocket, making plays with his feet and his arm and scoring at will.
Of course, only Cleveland fans would truly appreciate it.
