The Vince Young era in Cleveland is over

Time sure flies. The Vince Young era is apparently already over in Cleveland.

Young was signed after participating in the team’s mini-camp at the end of April. The Browns signed Young, QB Tyler Thigpen and LB Zac Diles.

The Browns drafted Johnny Manziel in the first round on Thursday, and are bringing in South Carolina quarterback Conner Shaw as an undrafted free agent. Unofficially.

That means the Browns will have four quarterbacks for organized team activities, and likely training camp including Brian Hoyer, Manziel, Thigpen and Shaw.

Running backs Terrance West and Isaiah Crowell made Fozzy Whitaker expendable. West was selected in the third round, with Crowell getting an UDFA invite. Again, unofficially.
