Browns coach Rob Chudzinski confirmed on Monday that QB Jason Campbell suffered bruised ribs during Sunday’s win over Baltimore. X-rays were negative, meaning no broken ribs. Campbell was sore, but expected to practice on Tuesday.
The Browns are on bye this week, meaning Campbell will have a weekend without a game to heal.
Chudzinski said that they will keep looking at the players available, specifically quarterbacks, but don’t feel a need to sign one right now.
