Late in the first quarter of Sunday’s win over the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland quarterback Jason Campbell was hurt when DT Haloti Ngata fell on his back. Campbell had the ball under him and left the game for a short time due to sore ribs.
Campbell had an x-ray on the ribs immediately following the game, but the results weren’t disclosed last night.
Today, CBS Sports insider Jason LaCanfora tweets that Campbell has bruised ribs and hopes to be ready to go when the Browns play again in two weeks against the Bengals.
