NFL News: Halftime score Browns 3, Packers 17

The Browns struggled out of the gate and go into the locker room down at the half for the first time all season.

Brandon Weeden started the game 1 for 6 before throwing an interception on the Browns’ second possession. He finished the half with 5 completions on 14 attempts for 48 yards and an interception. That’s good for a 16.4 passer rating. The Browns put one drive together, moving from their own twelve yard line to the Packers’ 28 before settling for a field goal attempt.

Defensively the Browns were only slightly better. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers converted five of seven third downs and marched down the field on three of their four possessions. Rodgers completed nearly 70% of his passes including a touchdown to Jermichael Finley. Rookie Eddie Lacy ran for 50 yards and a touchdown.

Willis McGahee leads the Browns with 23 rushing yards on eight carries. Greg Little has two receptions for 26 yards to lead the team. The Browns have not recorded a sack.
