October 30, 2013The Browns continued to tweak their roster on Tuesday, signing WR Armanti Edwards and OL Reid Fragel. The moves should excite the Buckeye fans amongst Browns backers.
Edwards was the quarterback for Appalachian State’s 34-32 victory over No. 5 Michigan in Ann Arbor on Sept. 1, 2007. The former QB was originally drafted by Carolina in the third round (89th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. Edwards appeared in 39 regular-season games with the Panthers. He recorded five receptions for 121 yards (24.2 avg.) and two carries for 12 yards (6.0 avg.), while adding 36 punt returns for 253 yards (7.0 avg.) and 15 kickoff returns for 295 yards (19.7 avg.). He appeared in four games this year and was waived by Carolina on Oct. 8.
Fragel was a tight end for the Buckeyes for his first three years and then started as the team’s right tackle last season during Urban Meyer’s initial season in Columbus. Fragel was signed off the Bengals’ practice squad. He was a seventh round pick of the Bengals.
To make room, the Browns placed WR Travis Benjamin on injured reserve with his torn ACL. They also signed WR Tori Gurley back to the practice squad.

well, we have been looking for The One QB for 14 years and through 20 starting players. haven’t found him yet.
