Browns-Chiefs: Three things to watch
October 27, 2013Reign On Spotlight Player of the Week: Paul Kruger
October 27, 2013The Browns announced their inactives this morning for their afternoon showdown against the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. Linebacker Quentin Groves (who was doubtful) and defensive lineman Billy Winn (who was questionable) are both inactive today. Along with Groves and Winn, offensive lineman Garrett Gilkey, Patrick Lewis, and Martin Wallace are all inactive as well as tight end Keavon Milton.
For the Chiefs, wide receiver Dwayne Bowe, who was injured this week at practice, will give it a go against presumably Joe Haden.
The Browns only have six inactives listed due to the roster spot occupied by Charles Johnson, the infamous wide receiver picked up on waivers from Green Bay who happened to have a torn ACL. After this week, they can reclaim that spot, and it’s possible that they would then sign a third quarterback. Right now, Davone Bess and Marquise Gray are your third-string options.
