  • Lyon25

So far the D is making Ponder look great

  • 216in614

At this point I hope we don’t blow it by winning 2-3 games this year.

  • 216in614

Holy !@#$ Is this real? Really?

  • maxfnmloans

dont worry, Josh Gordon will probably be traded by Tuesday

  • Tom T.

Spencer Lanning has equaled Weeden’s TD pass total…

  • historycat

    Dear Mr. Weeden,

Ohio unemployment regulations require you to apply for 2 jobs each week. Just a heads up.

  • historycat

Yeah, I never heard of a 15 yd penalty for improper review request.

  • Lyon25

I remember it happened during Thanksgiving game last year for Detroit

  • saggy

they better stop throwing to Gordon otherwise his value may go up too high.

can’t believer they’re gonna trade this kid. he’s amazing. got bigger this offseason.

  • bupalos

If they trade him I think it’s specifically for the drank. They should be trying to move Benjamin for a 6th. Kid appears to have a Weeden head.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

How come the Indians don’t have a game thread?

  • historycat

Well, the O-line needs work, and an RB off the couch isn’t much help against the blitz. Still better than Weeden.

  • saggy

can’t wait for the Browns to have the 9 and 22 picks next year. They’ll have to package those with a 2nd rounder just to trade up to #3.

  • LilBoyBlue

Jordan Cameron: 6 rec for 66 yards. 666! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

  • saggy

It’s just so obvious that it is WEEDEN – not Richardson – who is the problem.

I would love to have seen Trent in that game.

  • MrCleaveland

    YABBA DABBA DOOOOOOOO!

  • The_Real_Shamrock

If only they could face another winless team next week huh?

  • simond

whats Weeden’s value right now? 6th round pick?

  • The_Real_Shamrock

They obviously didn’t want to wait until they had Gordon back OR see what Hoyer could do.

At least it was entertaining 24 points in first half but man the second half was horrible until that last drive. Over 50 pass attempts thanks to non-existent run game but hey they won, they beat another winless team.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

    They wish!

  • Bryan

But now they have a franchise QB, so they are all set 😉

  • dukem1

    Hoyer!

  • The_Real_Shamrock

This could very well be a repeat of just a couple years ago when one less win was enough to cost in the draft.

  • TSR3000

    That. Was. Fun.

    Our D is legit.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

    27 points allowed too.

  • TSR3000

I would argue Weeden deserves a shot with Gordon.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

Indianapolis takes first drive against SF right down the field Luck 5-5 and who else but Trent Richardson on his first carry scores a two yard TD!

  • The_Real_Shamrock

I’m just glad it didn’t come down to a FG with Cundiff hurting his quad. Thankfully Lanning converted that extra point to force Minnesota to have to score a TD at the end.

  • Sam

Did somebody put salt in your kool-aid instead of sugar? It’s not illegal to enjoy a Browns victory for at least an hour before pointing out any possible negative aspect from an exciting game won on a last minute drive.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

LoL I had to remind everyone it was only fitting but my Kool-Aid is sugar free and specially engineered!

  • @TheDeePagel

Amen x 1 million……I’ll get hanged for this comment, but the negativity and piss and vinegar on this site is suffocating.

  • @TheDeePagel

Good Lord man…..are you Trent’s agent or something? Do you ever have ANY thing positive to say?

  • The_Real_Shamrock

U r a true believer and my best customer so OH YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEA!

  • The_Real_Shamrock

I’m just not a Kool-Aid drinkin’ true believer like yourself but unlike you I don’t feel the need to tell others what to think!

Oh and I also don’t down tick like a little b^%$# too! Have a nice day.

  • @TheDeePagel

The “nothing is good enough” crowd plays a role in running regime after regime and player after player out of town too, and ruining stability that is needed to succeed in the NFL. It isn’t just the different FO’s over the years that are to blame for the rut the Browns have been in. Sometimes some optimism from fans can go a long way in helping a team be successful. It’s just not buying a ticket and showing up, but it’s giving support as well.

It didn’t matter what happened today -Browns win, Browns lose – some fans – had already predetermined that they were going to pick apart everything that happened today in a negative way. That part is obvious.

  • @TheDeePagel

??? Your comments today are nothing but telling us that are happy with the result how to think. The bottom line of every post you made on this thread can be summed up as “Don’t be happy – they played a terrible team – and there are a ton of flaws” Isn’t that telling others how to think?

  • historycat

I have no problem with this. Here’s what I want: 2015 AFC Championship, Colts @Browns

  • Tom Heckert

You need to relax they won but that was far from an impressive victory. Don’t get me wrong it was nice to get a wif but they beat another winless team, they gave up 27 points, threw three INTs in over 50 pass attempts.

  • Tom Heckert

Like I said below relax they aren’t in the SB yet!

  • TSR3000

The TOs caused the points. Stop commenting on every post.

  • ohiomike

The Browns didnt win this game as much as the vikings gave it away! But for the true believers not only in the browns but also santa clause and alternate universes…im sure will win at least 3 more this year!

  • @TheDeePagel

I’ll take it. A win is a win is a win. I’d rather win that game than lose it. If we aren’t cheering when our team wins, then what the hell are we doing as “fans”?

  • @TheDeePagel

True. But you can’t get there without winning….and we just won this week. On to next week.

  • Tad

    Stop making excuses.

  • Tad

I hope all the people who said Indy wouldn’t do as well as last year are watching them kill the 49ers!
