September 23, 2013Cleveland Browns Game Three: Winners and Losers
September 23, 2013The Browns won, the Indians won and I also forced Scott to talk to us about his writing process. I just figure to have a writer of Scott’s stature on the podcast and not occasionally talk about the job of writing would be insane. He’s nice enough to put up with the topic on occasion.

Love the Scott Raab pieces.
He’s the smartest and most Browns commentator out there currently and there’s no second place.
Welcome to the Tribe bandwagon, don’t trip in your hurry to get on.
Love Raab usually, but sometimes he’s on here too often and instead of substance to back his opinions just reaches into his bag of I See From a Higher Perspective, You Stupid Peasants.
Sure, GMs like to clear house and make room for their own guys. But dumping Richardson doesn’t mean that he did it as a pure power ploy because that’s who Raab’s Philly friends say who Banner is. And it doesn’t mean he’s clearing everyone out. He could have dumped Sheard and Rubin and Taylor – all had value. Impossible that Richardson, in Banner’s mind, was not so relevant and at his highest trade value, it can only have been to show Chud, his own rook coach, there’s only one sheriff. And to throw this lazy snark while attacking Terry Pluto for the umpteenth straight podcast …
Maybe Raab needs some more substance to discuss between podcasts. He’s really good but not so much with this many minutes to fill within so few days.

Amen.
