My favorite Cleveland Brown of all time is Bernie Kosar
Bernie Kosar
Hanford Dixon
Brian Brennan
Bernie Kosar!
Bernie Kosar. He’s a proud Northeast Ohian and great leader who never collapsed under pressure. His skills never diminished which will be on full display at his new steakhouse opening in Northfield!!!
Lou Groza … is my dad’s favorite player … he is the reason I am Browns fan and if won he would be coming with me
Kevin Mack.
Phil Dawson
I have to say Josh Cribbs. As a Kent State grad, I’ve come to love the guy.
Eric Turner – RIP
Jim Brown
It’s got to be Phil Dawson he was with us since the browns came back to Cleveland and was the reason we won most of our games! To go from a free agent to a legend is pretty amazing.
James Nathaniel Brown
Eric Metcalf
Favorite Player of All Time is Dave Logan Clutch receiver plus used on prevent defense
TE Ozzie Newsome
Clay Matthews
I would have to say Frank Minnifield… Hanford Dixon is a close 2nd…met the man a few times a class act
Bernie Kosar!!!
Who is your favorite Cleveland Brown of all time?
Joe Thomas. I was late to the Browns fandom (during H.S). Left Tackle was a very problematic position for us, until this man made it a strength.
I have always been a big fan of a great defense. I have to choose Hanford Dixon. I absolutely loved the way he and Minnifield would own opposing receivers. Also, he used to stop by Rego’s #3 (where I worked in H.S.) to pick up one of his girlfriends. He seemed like a really cool cat. Was nice to everybody.
Thanks to Arthur B. Modell negatively affecting my childhood, I’ve only seen the post-Decision Browns. Therefore my choice is Mr. Automatic Phil Dawson. The kicker has been pretty reliable for us. It will be different this year, but maybe that change was truly needed since Dawson has been a staple since 1999.
Ever since he took a fine for wearing a Browns bandana under his ravens helmet it has been Steve Everett.
Phil Dawson
Antwan Peek, met him at work, he was a real humble and genuine person when we talked.
Brian Sipe
HOF’er Ozzie Newsome!
Eric Turner! Loved that guy.
You’re the first person I’ve come across who’s favorite player was also Eric Turner. Loved that dude.
Augustin Olobia. 11th round draft pick by the Browns in 1992. I don’t think he ever saw game action, but during training camp in Berea he gave my little sister his sweatband. To kids, that kind of stuff turns men into heroes. Also, it’s really fun to say his name.
Nice. I can honestly say I’ve never heard of him, and I was an active Browns fan at that time. The shame.
Bernie Kosar would be the best in my lifetime. Would have loved to see Jim Brown play. Since a few others said Bernie…
I will go with:
Pio Alika Sagapolutele. RIP.
Love the name!
Clay Matthews!
Jim Brown ,Obviously
Eric Metcalf!
The Ice Cube… Gerald McNeil! The guy was 5’7″, weighed 145 lbs soaking wet!!!
Bernie is my all-time favorite, but I’m sure it would be different if I ever got to see Jim Brown or Otto Graham play. My grandpa still says OG is the best QB to ever play!
Sadly – Phil Dawson
Ozzie Newsome
When I was young and impressionable I saw Kevin Mack get hit in the backfield shrug it off and get a nice gain. The guy on defense left the field hurt. I loved football and the Browns from then on.
Jerry Sherk
Eric Metcalf all day!
Well, I didn’t truly start following the browns until their return in ’99, so i would have to say since then, my favorite player has been either D’Qwell Jackson (for my love of linebackers), or Joe Haden (for basically being Mr. Cleveland and his showing of so much support to the city and the other teams). Really hard to choose, but if i had to choose just one, I’m going with D’Qwell.
Bernie Kosar
Gotta be Bernie Kosar. Unfortunately, I’m not old enough to have seen Jim Brown or Otto Graham play.
michael dean perry
Hanford Dixon!
Greg Pruitt [sorry Clay, it was close]
Brian Brennan
