Check out this hilarious obituary for a Browns fan

Scott E. Entsminger of Mansfield died on the 4th of July at the age of 55 and I’m guessing had pretty explicit instructions for his obituary. I first saw it via  Adam Schefter’s Twitter, but I’m sure it’s been around the block of ever-fast-moving Internet. Regardless, I think we might all agree that it takes a special guy to add levity to his own death after passing. Here’s the part of the obituary that will make you smile.

He was an accomplished musician, loved playing the guitar and was a member of the Old Fogies Band. A lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and season ticket holder, he also wrote a song each year and sent it to the Cleveland Browns as well as offering other advice on how to run the team. He respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pall bearers so the Browns can let him down one last time. Scott was a fun loving, kind and caring man who enjoyed gardening and fishing but his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

I’m positive that’s not an original joke, but what good form on using it anyway.

Rest in peace dear Browns fan. Rest in peace.

I’m not half as good-looking as that guy 🙁

  • The_Real_Shamrock

Don’t be modest I saw your photo in the post office and you are a handsome man. (My comment had more to do with pall bearers, funerals, undertaking. I believe we had a witty exchange some time ago about ditch diggers and undertakers. At least I think that was you.)

  • The_Real_Shamrock

You spin me right round, right round, like a record baby right round round round!

  • Vindictive_Pat

You just made me think of a line from one of the Addams Family movies… something like:
Lady (lying) – “Fester: what a ladykiller!”
    Gomez – “Acquitted!”

Anyway, yes I think you’re right that was me… I can’t remember the conversation though, my memory is somewhere between awful and horrendous.

  • The_Real_Shamrock

I don’t remember the particulars either just that I had that exchange with someone. For the record I have a pornographic memory!
