A 6-foot-10-inch “stretch 4,” he was waived by the Orlando Magic in October of 2012 where he would go on to average 14.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game for the Idaho Stampede of the NBDL.

Quite happy that the Cavs are giving Kadji and Dellavedova a shot. Both could be solid end of the bench depth this season.

  • Ezzie Goldish

I know Karasev is in Russia, but was Bennett not expected in the Summer League? Don’t most rookies usually play?

  • mgbode

Bennett is in rehab for his shoulder and the team likely didn’t feel it was worth the risk to have him play in the foul-heavy summer league.

  • Ezzie Goldish

    Ohhh yeahhh… Thanks. 🙂

  • Lunch

Hmmm…. Are Irving and Thompson still eligible to play in the summer league, or did they choose not to go this time?

  • BisonDeleSightings

I don’t think it would be wise to risk another injury to Kyrie in order to see him dominate a bunch of college players.

    And we get Bynum 🙂
