June 17, 2013The Bon Jovi concert scheduled to kick off the Browns’ season at FirstEnergy Stadium has been canceled, per Cleveland’s NewsNet5.
The event, billed as a “major announcement” complete with exorbitant fan fare from the team less than one month ago, was also to include a “Fan Fest,” performance by Cleveland native Michael Stanley and the Resonators and a Browns pep rally, all leading up to the Bon Jovi show. Tickets for the show went on sale Monday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
Citing multiple sources, there has not been a reason given for the cancellation, but the team—which is, naturally, not commenting at this time—is anticipated to send out a press release on the matter on Monday.

tickets good for a rebate with every preseason game purchase!
The Grateful Dead were!
They only sold 800 tickets the first day on sale. They had to cancel it to avoid complete embarrassment and a huge loss in dollars. Whoever booked an act that had just come through town needs to get fired.
What’s up with this new site layou? It is one of the worst layouts for a website I have ever seen.

It’s Gina’s fault!
I believe he was Complaining about the Luau—an obscure Elvis B side.
Bon Jovi hand picked Michael Stanley. Coming from my parents who asked them about it last weekend in Cleveland.
Word on the street is that the band is expected to be replaced by John Greco, who has looked great in camp thus far.
Where did you hear that information?
