Michael Brantley and the Wait ‘n See Approach
June 17, 2013Scott Raab part 2 on 2013 NBA Draft, Michael Irvin, Joe Thomas, Mike Polk, Danny Green – WFNY Podcast – 2013-06-17
June 17, 2013When the going gets tough, the Cleveland Twitterverse helps the Browns replace Bon Jovi to help kick off the 2013 NFL season. Will the concert be cancelled for good? Will an alternate act be brought in to help sell it? Don’t say that we aren’t doing our part to help. Oh and it’s probably not possible, but if I had to choose a band that I’d go see and could fill up a stadium, I would pick the Foo Fighters.

On a more serious note, Pearl Jam would be amazing. And it would sell out in minutes.
On an even more serious note, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony
You could include the one time Ohioan Scott Weiland led Stone Temple Pilots too.
AC/DC seems like a “Cleveland Browns Fan Fest” type show IMO
Paul McCartney or bust
The Black Keys
Also, agree with JHop. Add in Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and MGK. The most Cleveland thing about Cleveland is how much we love Cleveland.

Dave Grohl was born in Warren and comes here every so often, thanks to the dedication of Dave Grohl Alley in his honor. I think the Foos are a great choice!

Some of those suggestions were clearly sarcastic. I can only hope nobody from the Browns sees the Nickleback and Creed suggestions and takes them seriously.
Count me among those who would love to see the Foo Fighters and/or The Black Keys. Unfortunately I believe the Foos are technically on hiatus at the moment while Dave goads Paul McCartney into singing Nirvana covers. (Don’t get me wrong, I think that’s pretty freaking awesome. I’d just rather see the Foo Fighters) Maybe Dave would bring QOTSA to Cleveland. That could be a fun show as well.
