March 11, 2013Free agent defensive end/outisde linebacker Jason Jones is reportedly drawing interest from the Cleveland Browns. alongside the New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs.
I'm hearing DE Jason Jones has drawn interest from several teams, including NYG, DET, CLE and KC.

These four teams run a variety of defenses schemes, but Jones has what is characterized as “scheme-versatile traits” due to his size (6-foot-5, 276 pounds) and ability to impact both the run and pass game. This all, coupled with his motor, make him an intriguing prospect for the Browns who are apparently leaving zero stones unturned in attempt to bolster their pass-rushing ends.
Jones turns 27 in May. Before being shelved with a knee injury, Jones was rated very highly by the metrics-based Pro Football Focus. He had four sacks and 10 quarterback hurries as an effective situational pass rusher in his first and only season with the Seattle Seahawks.
