Schefter: Browns hire Cowboys Alec Scheiner as President
December 18, 2012NFL Report: Dolphins claim Dimitri Patterson
December 18, 2012The Browns have had quite a busy Tuesday afternoon. On the heels of the news about new president Alec Scheiner, the team announced late today that rookie LB James-Michael Johnson will join T.J. Ward on the Injured Reserve list, ending his season. Like Ward, Johnson is being sidelined with a knee injury that will not require surgery.
To take their place on the roster, the Browns have made a few moves-
“The Cleveland Browns today signed defensive back Prince Miller and linebacker Adrian Moten. The team also elevated defensive lineman Hall Davis from the practice squad to the active roster.”

Awesome…
So ends the “H+H and shurmur too” experiment. 5-11 it is…
Thought James-Michael Johnson had a total meh rookie year, and got much more attention and praise from media than deserved. The one play I saw that made me think he could be something decent was a long pass break-up way back in preseason where he showed speed and instincts. Not much since. Craig Robertson is still a one-dimensional speed guy but at least made an impact at times, in coverage or laying some hard hits. Can’t remember a single impact play by JMJ.
