I am most looking forward to seeing Tristan Thompson, for the long haul. He has to be a big time guy for the Cavs, if they want to be in the playoffs and a good team. I want to see him get double doubles frequently, avg 1.5 blocks and play good D. I think he has Serge Ibaka potential and I’m excited to see him grow.
Test.
Waiters. If he delivers then the sky is the limit for this team. If he fails, it could set the team back years.
Dion “My Heart will Go On” Waiters – Want to see the moves that made him the #4 overall pick… streaking down the lane..
Figures that comments would have problems the minute we try to run a contest… Just figures…
Gotta be Zeller. He should provide the actual force at center that the cavs have been lacking since BigZ.
I want to see Alonzo Gee now that he has a bit of job security. Can he continue to improve his game and become a reliable starter, or has he reached his peak?
I’m interested to see if Dion Waiters can go from being a bench player at Syracuse to the starting SG for the Cavs. He has skills but question picking him with the fourth pick was the right choice. I hope he proves my doubts wrong.
Alonzo Gee. He had a lot of improvement last off season. Looking forward to what he does this year abs earning a starting spot for opening night seems to be promising.

Tristan Thompson. Want him to live up to the #4 overall pick
I’m very intrigued to see what Luke Harangody looks like. As much as I love him, it’s still confusing why he got a million guaranteed. Might not get to see him play very much though.
Has to be Gee. That position has been a void since “you know who” left. Gee has made improvements every yr since being called up. Hopefully that continues
Dion Waiters! Think he is going to be a superstar. I was so excited.when they drafted him. Had a rough pre season and I am interested.to see him in real games.
CJ Miles, I saw him play in canton and was impressed with his size and shot. Can’t wait for the chemistry
I’m really interested to see our new “Z” Tyler Zeller. I don’t expect him to be an elite player, but I hope he can develop into the kind of player that Zydrunas was for us the last few years he was here. Solid and consistent.
Dion. So much depends on him not being a bust.
I cannot wait to watch Dion Play. If he can live up to his expectations the FO has for him, we will have the most dynamic backcourt in the league!
I am most interested in C.J. Miles. He is still young and has the athletic ability to be a strong second scorer after Irving. If Scott can coach him up, it could be the 1-2 punch needed to be a contender.
I want to see if Tristian Thompson can make the leap this year. A lot of people believe he has the potential to be a double double guy. I want to see him become the low post presence Irving needs.
I’m excited to see Dion Waiters. I’m interested in seeing how him and Kyrie work together
It’s gotta be CJ Miles. I think he’d be a legit starter, but leading the second unit will be a good role. He should really bring a lot of energy off the bench and contribute quality minutes and points.
Looking forward to watching Zeller he is an athletic 7 footer. It is going to be nice to have him on the bench ready to step up, and give Andy and Tristian a break.
Luke Walton because he is just the worst.
Patiently awaiting the return of Lester Hudson. While I’m Waiting I’ll be watching and overly critcizing every move Waiters makes.
J.E.B. Stuart
Waiters, can he prove he was worthy of #4?
The New Z please. Zeller should be a great addition! Plus we can all still yell Z at games!
I would absolutely say Tristan Thompson. I know he worked on a lot of things in the off season. Will be very interesting to see if he takes that step and becomes a force offensively. He already has the tools on D and with rebounding. If he can add a nice jumper he should turn into a very nice player.
Its got to be Dion Waiters. This will tell if
Chris Grant is in the upper echelon of GMs or if this is another reach for a “diamond
in the rough”
Alonso Gee: because he dunks like a mofo and ain’t nothin’ but a Gee thing baby!
TT. He needs to start making the steps necessary to be the type of player that can go out there every night and get you 16pts and 8rebounds a game while playing plus defense.
I want to watch Andy to make sure he stays injury free and boost his trade value.
CJ Miles averaging 12-4-3 off the bench, and a 6th man of the year nomination
Tyler Zeller. He has the body to be a stud down low. If he and Andy show up to play, andy could be nice trade asset in near future.
Dion Waiters, without a doubt. Cannot wait to see the chemistry between him and Irving.
Dion/Tristan – need steady contributions from both #4 draft picks
Andy Varejao.
I’d have to say Tyler Zeller. Anxious to see if he can mix it up with the NBA’s top bigs. If he can it is a huge step in the right direction for this team.
Pargo. Because his name is Pargo. Also because it would legitimately be one of the best steals in NBA history. DJ KENNEDY??? Hahahaha
My answer is Byron Scott, in sports nothing to me is more intriguing than seeing how a coach can teach and mold a young team like we have. Between the continued growth of Kyrie through Scott’s system, I’m most interested in seeing how Byron Scott ‘s unmatchable work ethic will reach on questionable picks like Waiters, Zeller, and Thompson.
I think Byron’s the coach that can lead a team to a championship eventually and it’s years like this where the work ethic he preaches will grow inside the plethora of young players we have.
Definitely Dion Waiters.
Its gotta be Dion Waiters.. I don’t expect everything to click day 1, but I am excited to see this team grow over the season.
Dion Waiters
Anderson Varejao!! Missed his energy on the court while he was out.
Dion Waiters!! Anxious to see how all these guys gel as a team!
Dion Waiters. Personally I don’t think his performance this year is any more or less important than 5 or 6 other guys’ performances on this team, but with the stories surrounding Dion (weight, high pick, attitude) it’s going to be a much bigger deal whether he sinks or swims.
Dion Waiters. How he pans out will dictate the whole year and perhaps next few years of team development
CJ Miles, to see if he can be the legit scoring threat off the bench that the Cavs desperately need
I CAN’T WAIT to watch Zeller, we finally have another true C!
Boobie Gibson. still my favorite Cav. Let’s see what he has left.
