Tweeting from his hospital bed, Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston has been interacting with fans and updating them on his status since being admitted to the Cleveland Clinic with a blood clot in his lung. Pinkston apparently had a visitor in retiring team president Mike Holmgren and stated that while he was supposed to be released today, “something came up” that will delay his departure.
Admitted following the team’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals after days of discomfort, there is no timetable for Pinkston’s return as he has officially been placed on injured reserve. John Greco started in Pinkston’s place in the team’s recent loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

get well big fella. i’m guessing this means a trip to IR as your personal health means more than a few starts on a 1-7 team.
I’m sitting here racking my brain trying to think of what could possibly be the “ton of stuff” that Holmgren brought.
