Browns have sixth most cap space to start season
September 9, 2012While We’re Waiting…Welcome Back Browns
September 9, 2012According to NFL Network’s Albert Breer, Trent Richardson (knee) will start at running back for the Cleveland Browns as they play host to the Philadelphia Eagles on Opening Day of the 2012 season.
Good AM. Couple nuggets: Browns RB Trent Richardson (knee surgery) will start today. And LB Scott Fujita is unlikely to play, per sources.

Richardson had not played in any of the team’s preseason contests and was listed as questionable all week, but this was the expected outcome with optimism growing by the day with head coach Pat Shurmur calling his Friday practice “great.” While his role will not be fully known until game time, 20 touches by the third-overall pick in the recent NFL Draft is obviously an upgrade for a team in dire need of an offensive spark.

NFL network guy just said that he was don rehabbing 2 weeks ago and has been working on conditioning and prep since then. Sounds like Shurmur is really trying to be CIA like with player info. That gets old quick…
This is great to hear. Trent Richardson finally gets his tim to shine on field today.
I think I speak for all Browns fans when I say WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
okt, Childress, here’s what I’ve scripted for first possession: make Philly line think run. Richardson run up the middle, Richardson run up the middle, shotgun snap with delayed hand-off to Richardson or Jackson. Doesn’t matter if it’s 3 and out, let Weeden’s pulse slow and Schwartz lock up with Babin at NFL-speed on safer plays.
Know we’re going to get hammered and Vick will run wild past our horrible LBs, but still have those game-day butterflies. Must be NFL season.
(Pouring Harv a nice big mug of ice cold kool-aid ‘cuz that’s how real tailgaters do it) C’mon Harv the third play will be a five yard completition to Watson on third and six. Just 15 more games to go!!!
ya know, I’ll take the 5 yards for the reasons stated. And I’m expecting a blow out and more to come early in the season. But it’s fun watching good young players develop, right? So there’s no reason to attempt to confiscate my opening game buzz, pal.
He could pull a Belichek move and list Trent Richardson as Questionable every single week, which I think would be hilarious, unless you have Richardson on your fantasy team
good YOUNG (Richardson) players? Yes. OLD (Weeden) players? No.
