While We’re Waiting… Tribe Concession Speech, OSU-MSU Preview, And The Hit On Cribbs
September 29, 2012Sandy’s First Game As Manager Provides Mixed Feelings
September 29, 2012Cavaliers guard Dion Waiters sent out a picture of himself via Instagram yesterday afternoon working out at Syracuse. In the photo, Waiters appears to be in much better shape than when we last saw him in the Vegas Summer League, where he shot 12-of-40 and scored 37 points in 3 games before missing the final three with knee soreness.
The Cavaliers open up October 30th against the Wizards, and the fourth overall pick will have a great chance to be the team’s starting shooting guard if this picture (and Byron Scott’s training camp) is any indication.

oh wow… pat on back to a guy being paid to be in shape..
Dion is a beast, and will be a GREAT compliment to KI.
The jaded Cavs fans, still smarting over LBJ and all the losing, will probably pounce on him should he stumble….and he will.
Hope this doesn’t make it a bitter relationship, but judging from the way its started, that’s wishful thinking.
I like Waiters and I think that he’s going to be good in the long run, but what were you expecting “jaded Cavs fans” to do? Dion showed up fat to summer session and played poorly. Yes, fans definitely overreacted, but let’s not let Waiters off the hook… he’s a professional basketball player now and needs to be held accountable. We don’t want another LBJ situation where one player is given total power over the organization.
