Browns fans can make Trent Richardson “Rookie of the Week”

This week I contrasted Peyton Hillis and Trent Richardson. One of the biggest contrasts was based on expectations. Specifically, I wondered if Trent Richardson had put up the same 1177 yards that Hillis did whether fans would have overreacted to the point they did in the Madden voting.

Well, now’s your chance to start that ball rolling again Browns fans.

Trent Richardson is up for the “Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week.” He’s up against punter Johnny Hekker, Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill and Russell Wilson.

I wonder if Jim Brown would vote for him?

well, now Jim Brown says that Richardson needs to prove he can consistently carry a team on his back.

  • Brandon

I literally just voted 60 times

I realize they probably couldn’t nominate two guys from one team, but didn’t Weeden outperform all 3 of the nominated QBs this week? I’m just sayin’…

Let’s spread the word. With the multitude of Browns fans, and count those Bama alumni and fans in as well for TRich to get this small step towards that Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

Anyone else find it ironic that Brandon Weeden had better numbers than all 3 of the QB choices? No?

Funny story. The Goodtime II ran aground the other day. Not a serious threat but the stress and jolting sent a woman into labor. Trent Richardson happened to be nearby and he ran across the water grabbed the woman and ran back accross the water to shore and the waiting paramedics. When told of the story Jim Brown muttered; “So Trent can’t swim huh?”

  • LazyDawg

Jim Brown didn’t even watch the game….he just saw the highlights. Way to support your old team. Well maybe he doesn’t live in the area and can’t afford the NFL package. sarcasm….

  • The Rams, Colts, Dolphins, and Seahawks also all won their game…
