August 30, 2012Bears Backups Beat Browns Backups 28-20
August 30, 2012I don’t know if this is going to totally tell the story. I think we have to keep everything in mind on that. We obviously didn’t play well on offense in the first half. There are a lot of guys out there fighting to make this team that haven’t had many reps. That is what I’m watching, I’m watching how well the guys are playing. We finally got a drive there at the end and got some points on the board, which is important. I thought Seneca did a nice job of executing the drive. We got some good runs out of Brandon Jackson there too. There was some good stuff in there. There is stuff for us to evaluate. Hopefully, what we see tonight will make our decisions tougher.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Shurmer thought there was a 5th preseason game.
I hate to be negative, but that Eagles game could be ugly..
Ugly? You’d better start drinking now. This is going to be the ugliest season in Cleveland sports history.
you see this will be a long year in cleveland. boy the draft pickes in 2012 was real bad, lets see, Richarson has not played so we dont know. weeden to me and most he a bust, mitchll schwatz has played poor, josh gordan played poor for a 2th round, john hughes has played well at times, travi bejamin had some catches and a lot of drops, james johnson has played well. for a 4th round pick.
here we go a long bad year, lets do better with the frist pick in nexts draft.
that’s it. might as well cut all the draft picks now. they didn’t live up to slimjim’s standards in the preseason afterall 🙂
5 quarters of football. You and apparently most others have seen 5 quarters of football from a rookie quarterback and you’ve decided he’s already a bust. Good grief. And we haven’t even seen Richardson yet, so we don’t know how he will change our offense. Cleveland fans… so passionate for a winning team right now. I get that because I’m hungry for a winner too, but you’ve got to allow time for a rookie to mature.
When all the players look bad, you look at the COACH.
At the very least, I hope the next practice works on blocking when we PUNT.
