The Indians ahead of tonight’s game against the Tigers activated designated hitter Travis Hafner from the paternity list. To make room for Pronk, they optioned outfielder Vinny Rottino back to Triple-A Columbus. Hafner was placed on the paternity list on Wednesday, and Rottino was called up to replace him. Hafner is batting .230 with a .784 OPS with 10 homers and 29 RBI in 196 at-bats. The 32-year-old Rottino was 0-for-5 in two games for the Indians after hitting .299 with a .874 OPS, 4 homers, 32 RBI in 30 games at Columbus.
