Tribe Injury News: Hafner Expected Back, Chisenhall Taking Batting Practice
August 24, 2012Box Score: Indians 1, Yankees 3
August 24, 2012In Pat Shurmur’s halftime interview he summed it up. “We didn’t do much right.”
The Browns go to the half down 17-3. And it wasn’t really that close.
The Browns took the opening kick-off and moved down the field, before penalties and a Brandon Weeden fumble gave the ball to the Eagles. Weeden played all but the final minute of the first half, and finished 9 of 20 for 117 yards.
The offensive line looked absolutely terrible. They gave up 3 sacks, and I believe 3 penalties.
On a semi-positive note, the defense hasn’t given up much on the ground. Screen passes have killed them though. Joe Haden had an interception. Sheldon Brown has been beaten on at least three plays.
Making matters worse, the Browns first string offense failed to move the ball against the second and third teams of the Eagles. Enjoy the second half.

Was looking forward to being able to see the game on NFL Network tomorrow, but now I’m not sure I’ll even watch. Ok I’ll probably still watch. What a miserable display from our Brownies. It’ll be interesting to see if the same garbage happens in game 1 of the regular season.
Can anyone comment on Schwartz’s performance and the WRs? Thats about all Im interested in for this game.
Schwartz got beat a few times. The entire Eagles front four killed our line.
Gordon looked ok tonight. Little and Weeden were completely out of sync. Benjamin couldn’t make a play he maybe should have.
Yep. That’s about it. Norwood made a catch, and then got slammed to the ground headfirst. Came out of the game afterwards.
Dudes. Preseason. NE was down 14. No injuries is a W.
