Man can those Athletics pitch, phew!
oh no, we suck again
It’s hard to tell – I think our lineup could, at this point in the season, make just about any starting pitcher look like Felix Hernandez & Justin Verlander’s love child.
I think that was the good ol’ sarcasm font.
Absoultely no reason to win another game this year. Work ou the kinks you see in everyone’s mechanics and get to winter ball.
Ryan @ Let’s go Tribe has an series of articles that describes the race for the best draft spot. I think the Tribe has a great shot at gettting the #2 overall pick (can’t “catch” the Astros).
Who are these “Indians,” and why are the playing the letter A? Confused.
Just a bit of sarcasm but oh boy the #2 pick I can’t wait to see what they do with it! They’ll probably draft another high schooler who will take 4-5 years to make it to the major leagues.
Once they get a top 4 pick it’ll complete the triumverant for professional sports teams.
i know it’s sarcasm, but if we want a quicker progress and pitcher too boot, the Pirates did not sign Appel (who was expected to be the #1 overall pick this past year but dropped to #8 due to signability concerns that he will not have next year – as he “HAS” to come out).
This is something I would endorse!
I am really excited about the future for this team. With aCab and Santana, we have the makings of very formidable lineup. Add Kipnis and Chisenhall to the mix and it just gets better. Now, bring in Francisco Lindor and wow…we are really talking “What If?” now!!! Oh, don’t forget Sin Coo Shuey who will NOT be traded if this team plans to make a run next season. Uh oh, I almost forgot…Mbrantley. I mean he is on an nutso pace to have nearly 8 homers next year and 15 sb. Talk about dual threat. But wait you say, don’t you dare forget Mr. Cleveland himself Joe Chizemore. This guy is on a even nuttier pace to play 10 games. With his bat added to this potentially potent and pitifully powered lineup, we are in it to win it!
Who says we need runs to be a good team. Just look at this potential. Just look at it now!!
