While We’re Waiting… Adding a starter, naming THE starter and Acta third least respected?
June 14, 2012Reds 5 Indians 3: Where Exactly is Ramon Vazquez These Days?
June 14, 2012Just a few days after reports circulated surrounding interest in Mirza Teletovic, a 6-foot-9-inch power forward out of Bosnia, the agent of the recently bought-out big man has indicates that his client will likely sign with either the Brooklyn Nets or Cleveland Cavaliers for the 2012-13 season.
Teletovic,26, was the Euroleague’s top regular season scorer, averaging 21.7 points for Vitoria, hitting 3.1 three-point field goals per game (43.1 percent). A traditional volume-type player, the Bosnian’s big weakness to this point has been his defense as he has largely been a perimeter player, averaging only 6.0 rebounds per contest and occasionally being forced out of the paint by larger forwards.
A bit of an undersized front-court player, the 240-pount Teletovic would likely assume the “stretch-four” role in Cleveland, ocassionally slotting down to the small forward when not confronted with a dynamic player opposite him due to the potential for defensive struggles.

Yes please
Don’t hold your breath. The Cavs, or the hip new Jay-Z led nets? I’m sure Mr. Stern will advise accordingly. 😉
weekness ?
Also, why would we want a PF that doesnt play defense and cant play down low at all? Isnt that what the position is supposed to be doing/defending??
Sounds like a younger version of Jamison…
because Bosnians always go with the flashy hip-hop artist? and they also love Russians (owner)?
i’ll put a non-partisan wiki site for this place, but there are plenty of contentious things that go on there:

he’d just be taking the Antawn Jamison role for a fraction of the cost and not guaranteed starter minutes
dang, you beat me to it 🙂
Haha, was going to say the same thing. Welcome back ‘Tawn!
well at least he is “team oriented”…if you fall, Mirza will catch you.

More like Eastern Bloc New Russian Billionaire led Nyets. Granted, I don’t know if the Russian connection is good or bad, but still…
