The Red Sox, The Tribe, And The $200 Million Question
May 11, 2012Browns Rookie & Former Ohio State Linebacker Andrew Sweat Will Not Play In NFL
May 11, 2012According to Nate Ulrich, the Browns have locked up another draft pick-
“#Browns have agreed to terms of four-year deal with DL Billy Winn, a sixth-round pick, a league source told the Beacon Journal.”
That leaves first round picks Trent Richardson and Brandon Weeden, second rounder Mitchell Schwartz and sixth round LB Emmanuel Acho as the only draft picks left to sign.
The Browns are currently holding their rookie mini-camp, with the first practice this morning. The only player reportedly missing is former Ohio State LB Andrew Sweat. No details yet on why Sweat wasn’t present.

after the Taylor injury, they want to take it easy on the workouts 🙂
Strange situation with Sweat. JB Shugarts said he talked to him this morning and Sweat didn’t say anything about not coming to practice.
The Browns said they don’t know why he didn’t come.
I’m gonna guess motorcycle accident or car crash. We specialize in those. Speaking of which…. is Marcus Bernard on the roster anymore??? Or even on the PUP list???
Benard is on the active roster and should be ready to go when training camp comes around from all we’ve heard.
Glad to hear that. I think the kid could be very good. He had 7.5 sacks as a back up in 2010. With Big Phil missing at least 1/2 the season, we need all hands on deck.
