Tribe starter Ublado Jimenez was unable to dial up a repeat performance from his last outing, instead falling into his predominant underachieving 2012 form. Ubaldo yielded 7 runs and 9 hits while walking 5 and striking out 4 as the Tribe dropped the second game of the four-game series with Boston 7-5 in Fenway. The Indians stranded 14 runners in all, including 7 in the final three innings as Carlos Santana and Michael Brantley contributed two RBI each. Despite having the tying run on second base in the ninth inning, the Indians were unable to make Boston closer Alfredo Aceves pay. Cleveland falls to 18-14 and currently sits 1.5 games ahead of Detroit in the AL Central pending the outcome of tonight’s Tigers-A’s game. Cleveland and Boston meet again for game three tomorrow night with Josh Tomlin facing Felix Doubront.

How many other people said “if you’re going to bring in Wheeler you might as well leave Ubaldo out there” when Manny made the move to the pen?
Hope Raffy is back soon so Danny can be given his walking papers and we see more Hagadone.
