Indians’ starting staff lead the majors in ‘pace’
April 17, 2012Front office disagreement should be healthy for the Browns
April 17, 2012On the second day of off season workouts, Browns WR Jordan Norwood signed his tender as an exclusive rights player. His salary for 2012 will be $465,000.
Norwood was 6th on the team in catches with 23 and in receiving yards with 268. He was second on the team in yards per catch at 11.7 and scored his first career touchdown against the Bengals. He was originally signed by Cleveland as an undrafted free agent in 2009.

I like Norwood, he’s our 4th WR3 player!
he might be our best slot-WR though. MoMass isn’t a slot, Cribbs can play some slot, but that really shouldn’t be his role.
That’s fine, but he won’t get many looks with no dominant WR1. We need a dominant WR just to take the coverage off Norwood.
One of the few WRs we have who can rack up yards after the catch… should be an important player going forward I think.
agreed. Sanu, Little, and Norwood with Moore as TE would be quite the 3rd down package.
glad to see some one has a little bit of brains to get him signed. Now if they just don’t screw up the draft we will be ok. I can really see them messing this up so bad that we will just shut down the club..
