Elias: Jamison Matches Career Mark

Matching or setting career marks during the waning years of a lengthy career is difficult for any athlete to accomplish, but Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Antawn Jamison did just that in Friday’s win over the Toronto Raptors.

In scoring 16 fourth-quarter points, Elias Sports bereau tells us that this matches the most points Jamison has ever scored in the final quarter of a game. The veteran also scored 16 fourth quarter points on for Golden State at Houston on March 10, 2001, for Washington at Boston on January 25, 2006 and for Washington at New Jersey on April 7, 2007.

In his second full season with the Cavs, Jamison is averaging 17.6 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, both averages good enough for second-best on the Cleveland roster.
