Manningham: Cold and team in Cleveland make for a miserable combination
March 13, 2012Cavaliers Host Raptors, Look to Extend Winning Streak to 4
March 13, 2012According to a report by The Plain Dealer’s Mary Kay Cabot, Phil Dawson has accepted his franchise tender offer of $3.8 million dollars-
“#Browns kicker Phil Dawson has accepted his franchise tag, a league source tells the Plain Dealer. About $3.8 million.”
Franchised players receive a contract worth the average of the top five players at their position, but because Dawson was also tagged last year, he is entitled to 120% of that number, thus his deal is worth slightly more than the other four kickers who received the tag.

Yes, 41% of our offense is secure!
They must have brainwashed poor Phil honestly but at least they’ll spend on someone who can score.
