Jeanmar Gomez Named Tribe’s 5th Starter, Herrmann To Columbus
March 31, 2012Box Score: Knicks 91, Cavaliers 75
March 31, 2012Kyrie Irving, who suffered a sprained right shoulder in the second quarter of last night’s game, will miss his fifth game of the season tonight as he has been ruled out of tonight’s game in New York against the Knicks. Irving, the Cavs’ leading scorer and the frontrunner for Rookie Of The Year, remained in the game for the third quarter, but did not return in the fourth quarter of last night’s blowout vs. Milwaukee. Recent signee Donald Sloan will start at the point guard slot, and expect more playing time for both Manny Harris and the newest Cavalier, guard Lester Hudson. Jeremy Lin will also miss tonight’s game, his fourth straight, and is likely done for the season after a MRI revealed that he has a torn left meniscus that will require surgery.
