Today, the Cleveland Indians announced an addition to their coaching staff by adding the recently retired Adam Everett as a Special Assistant to Baseball Operations.
Per the team, Everett will be in uniform through most of spring training and will be active in infield instruction and player and staff development for both Major and Minor League camps in Goodyear, Arizona. Once the calendar turns to the regular season, he will continue to provide infield instruction and evaluation within the Indians Player Development System.
Everett, 34, concluded his 11-year career with the Cleveland Indians. He earned Gold Glove honors each year between the years 2003 and 2006, compiling a career fielding percentage of .976.
