Angels 4 Indians 3: The Neverending Story
September 9, 2010Bunting’s Overrated – Clippers Get Walk-off Homer to Take Game One 6-4
September 9, 2010Not much to say about this other than just posting a picture. Consider this one more than 1,000 words.
So, stay tuned to WFNY later in the day when we will have a really interesting batch of quotes from Berea or a certain obituary for a certain beat reporter.
(For the record, QBComa92 doesn’t have his twitter account “Verified” with that special blue text.)

Great job Tony. It’s always good to take public shots at the large, surly, D-Lineman that plays on the team you cover for a living.
Way to think big-picture.
why would grossi ever say something like that? seems like a good way to get denied access to some of the more important players on the team. what a moron.
I laughed out loud at this. Good stuff Shaun
Also, I hope everyone else loves Shaun’s name as much as I do – QBcoma92. That’s classic.
Tony better hope it doesn’t change to SportsWriterComa92.
I am embarrassed for you Tony Grossi
“why would grossi ever say something like that?”
Because he, like many other in the media, is a tad bitter that Rogers has been pretty much unattainable through his entire tenure in Cleveland. And because there is this overriding feeling among the MSM that Twitter is a place where they can say whatever they want without ramifications.
He may not have the verified text, but it’s him. Based on conversations he and the other players have had.
Seems some players just haven’t verified yet. Another Brown’s player posted the other day that they were trying to figure out how to do that.
I side with Grossi on this. I don’t really care what Shaun Rogers has to say.
John, then you’re not allowed to ask him any dumb questions.
John, your opinion is valid. But, Tony Grossi’s job is to objectively cover the Cleveland Browns. How he could say actually ask if “anybody [cares]” about one of the few marquee/polarizing players on the team is beyond me just from that context. It’s foolish, at best and downright stupid at worst.
Agree DP. Grossi better hope somebody cares, b/c if not, what’s the point of having him?
c’mon guys, just stick to covering sports.
@12, haven’t you ever heard of the sport of duck hunting? Cuz thatGrossi cat seems like a dead duck..
a quack…
completely daffy..
I’ve got pages of these, I could go on..
look, rogers doesn’t fellate the media people (or anyone else). He plays his ass off and makes big plays. Who cares about quotes and interviews? Report on that stuff.
He’s not the most outgoing guy – maybe he hates talking to reporters because he doesn’t want to say something to make himself look foolish.
or maybe he doesn’t like white folk. But I gotta say, I wouldn’t poke fun at QB Coma 92, who is also confirmed as packing heat (everywhere). Gangsta.
Twitter strikes again…old, boring, tiresome welcome to the new age of sports.
Tony…
Sticks and Stones…may break your bones….unless Shaun gets a ‘blitz’ on you first. (clever huh?)
Isn’t EVERYONE excited to see Shaun and the BROWNS Play?
Man, I am.
HoJazz Knows….
I like Shaun so much I made this great picture of him my Avatar….how did the media get him to pose for something like this……
Seriously, whether you’re joking or really think that, why would you say it out loud?
Grossi is the main beat writer at the biggest paper in town covering the most over-analyzed team in town. It’s not as if he’s the third-string prep writer at a suburban fish wrap. The PD better hope someone cares.
i’D LIKE TO INTERVIEW THESE PLAYERS. i WOULDN’T ASK ANYTHING THAT THEY WOULD CONSIDER STUPID. i WULDN’T ASK ANY PRYING, LEADING, OR SPECUALTIVE QUESTIONS.
Sorry for the caps lock thing.
I’m guessing that Shaun Rogers doesn’t dance enough for the local media. When you don’t do that, you’re obviously a primadonna, spoiled, jerk. Probably got tired of answering Grossi’s or Rizzo’s or Roda’s or whoever’s same old questions one day and now he’s on their s*** list.
[…] coming from. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Remember when Shawn Rogers called out Tony Grossi earlier this year for asking “dumb” questions? It won’t be the last, either, I am quite […]
