Report: Joe Haden “May Be Too Slow”
July 19, 2010Cavaliers Saw What They Needed To See In Summer League
July 19, 2010Last Thursday was the second annual event. As always, thanks to Jacob Rosen, Mike Link and the Akron Aeros staff for their help in pulling the event off. Also thanks to Pete Pattakos and Vince Grzegorek for helping promote the event. Perfect weather (maybe a little hot) and a bigger crowd than last year helped make the event a success. An Aeros win certainly didn’t hurt either. It was nice to meet some new blood, but great to spend time with ‘old friends’ as well. Watching the group interact it was hard to believe that a good portion of them met for the first time last year at the Aeros event. Hope you can make the next one. Now, here is the evening in pictures through the lens of Jon Cole.
Asdrubal Cabrera with the rehab start. Note the Indians batting helmet. What’s the matter Astro-Cab? Aeros not have a helmet big enough?
Cabrera doubled and would score in the first.
It was affiliate night at the park as well. The mascots from all the different teams were in attendance. This is LouSeal from the Clippers.
Here’s some of the crew. As you can tell, the game was sometimes secondary to the conversation. Good times.
Thirsty Thursday got Cleveland Frowns’ seal of approval.
Great shot from the fish-eye lens.

Thanks to Jon Cole for the great shots. Again, not enough space for the 120 fantastic pictures he sent. I’ve known Jon a long time. He’s a great photographer, but an even better person. Character and integrity. If you need studio portraits taken, or want professional looking shots of an event look Jon up. I can’t give a higher recommendation.

Thanks again, Rick! Love covering events for WFNY!
Scott has clearly gone hollywood.
Nice shots. I second Rick’s endorsement of Jon Cole on a personal and professional level.
Thank you, Pete!
