Lenny Barker’s Perfect Game – The Musical
March 15, 2009While We’re Waiting… A Portly Donyell, LeBron for MVP, and Adam Miller Updates
March 16, 2009It is a big day of basketball for all you WFNY fans. The Buckeyes will look to beat Purdue in what amounts to a home game for the Boilermakers in Indianapolis. Then later on we have a visit from the New York Knickerbockers right here in downtown Cleveland. It is also the first visit from the Knicks since they acquired the rotting corpse of Larry Hughes. And Larry has average 15.8 ppg since joining the Knicks. But, he did go off for 39 in a win over Milwaukee a couple days ago. We will see if he has anything special for his former team now that he gets to play all free and loose with D’Antoni’s NY Knicks.

Cavs not in in DC. Buckeyes game looking to have a total of 120 points scored, at best.
Are the buckeyes writing their offensive gameplan from watching last year’s tapes of the Cavaliers? Just watch Evan Turner dribble at the top of the key. Seems like a good plan.
Bucks up at half, whee
More like Pur-don’t!
Can’t believe I forgot to say that!
“Rotting corpse of Larry Hughes”
I love it!
Is it just me, or is/was there not alot of hoop-la regarding the Cavs winning the Division? (The second week of March I might add.) I guess everyone’s focus is home court through out and a title. Congrats on the division Cavs, but by all means, focus on the championship.
Side note: C’s lose to the Bucks. Woo!!!
Lebron came out immediately after clinching the div and said basically, “Who cares?” He said that the division wasn’t their goal this year because they were so focused on being a championship contender. I think that set the tone.
We need to capitalize on boston losing again. seems like a lot of times Boston loses, we come out and play crappy ball; see Lakers game.
Wish the Bucks could’ve pulled it out, but they played better than we really could’ve imagined in the tournament, and hopefully can get a win this week.
So much for keeping the Central Division Champ thing quiet.
No kidding… they made a liar out of me.
Anyone notice that they have gone to Andy to start the last 4 games or so?
you guys are using twitter now?
sorry, but ughh….
Anybody have a (free) link to watch the game online? My usual sources are not yielding much at the moment…
Twitter is a good way for us to maintain relationships with other sports sites around the net. I know it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea.
Trading jumpers with the Knicks is not a good idea. Cavs need to play defense.
Just play defense for five minutes and you will win.
Lee on defense is funny to watch. Basically picked him on the last three minutes…
Kudos to CAVS who now haev a 2.5 lead on the Celts… and are just starting their home run…. this can only help ….
Twitter is my way to say what I want and not work within the family friendly environment that is WFNY. Not that I don’t have family friendly things to say, but it’s a much more free verse way to discuss sports, etc.
Good to see the Cavs won a game they should have won. Woo!
@Bridgrecrosser
You mean 3.5 game lead. And we have only 16 to play while the Celtics have 15 to play. That means that if we go 13-3, the conference is ours no matter what at this point in time. We also have to keep an eye out for those pesky Lakers who beat Dallas today. LA has a relatively easy stretch coming up here with Philadelphia, Golden State, Chicago, Oklahoma City, Detroit and New Jersey. That significantly amplifies the Cavs home games against Orlando, Portland, Atlanta and Dallas still remaining this month.
@Craig
Before Wallace got hurt it seemed like they always went to him to start the game. Yet we can’t ever get the ball to Z…
