Bounce Back: Jackets Edge Blackhawks in OT
March 19, 2009Indians Reduce Roster by 15 Players
March 19, 2009As we all know, the annual March Madness college basketball tourney starts today. I thought I would take this opportunity to run down all the reasons that college football is broken with the BCS and how they could use a tournament like this to close out their season.
Just kidding.
I am going to run down all your Ohio teams and when you can catch their games. Good luck with those brackets.

Gooooooo DAYTON FLYERSSSS!!!!!!!!!
Good luck Buckeyes, Vikings, and Zips. Programs all coached by great leaders, motivators, and communicators. Let’s see if we can get at least one upset victory.
Who has the best chance at an upset?
If I had to guess I would say Akron.
Craig……..you’re probably right in terms of odds. CSU is up against it physically with Wake Forest (big time), but I’m going to call it CSU because of Gary Waters.
Best chance of upset is definitely Cleveland State. They beat Syracuse at the Carrier Dome and have a coach with the NCAA experience. Akron has not supposed to be that good this year and has to travel 2,500 miles to take on Gonzaga in Portland. Ohio State will be playing a relative home game in Dayton, but no way is their offense good enough to play with Louisville’s top ranked defense in the second round. Xavier got the raw end of the deal as well with the opportunity to play the most even 5/12 winner in the tournament in Wisconsin or Florida State.
Don’t understand why Siena is such a popular upset pick against the Buckeyes. The CBS in-studio analyst for Sunday’s Tournament Selection show couldn’t pick a Siena upset fast enough after their match with the Bucks was announced. Why? All Coach Matta does is Coach his teams to postseason wins, no? Deep runs with Xavier teams, Title game with freshmen laden Bucks in his second year, NIT Champs last year after being snubbed by the Big Dance. What else does this guy have to do? Go Bucks! (Go Zips! Go Vikes!)
Nice Photoshop.
