Arizona Fall League: Lofgren Needs a Mulligan
October 9, 2008Think You’ve Got What It Takes?
October 9, 2008With our football team 1-3 heading into a Monday Night’r against the reigning champions, I can’t help but feel a little sick to my stomach. But with this recent newsout of Browns camp, it appears that the feeling is contagious among the players as well.
The Browns will practice again Thursday without Kellen Winslow, who’s battling an illness.
Browns coach Romeo Crennel said Winslow will visit a doctor Thursday, but Crennel didn’t have many more details.
“We’ll send him down, let the doctors look at him and they’ll let us know,” Crennel said. “He’s a valuable piece to this puzzle so if he’s able to do something (the next couple of days) in practice then we’ll let him do something, catch him up and get him ready.
Obviously, Winslow isn’t a guy that requires a ton of prep time. He sat out several days during the pre-season, and is doing just fine on the field (numbers aside). If anything can be taken from this, at least he has an extra day and a half to recover from whatever illness he’s feeling. I guess mine will just fester for a while longer…

hope its just the flu/cold/nastyness bug that’s going around… whenever a pro misses time because he’s “ill” its usually pretty serious.
Crennel said. “He’s a valuable piece to this puzzle”
And people were saying he’s clueless, unobservant, etc.
*gulp*
Staph is an “illness”…
so is alcoholism… even team-induced
PLease dont mention the ST*%# infection word.
@Scott, in the context of our sports teams, it’s not called “alcoholism” so much as it is “commiseration”.
Someone does not like the Browns. All these injuries, illness, under performing. WTF
Browns fans should boycott the Monday night game…
I’m hearing from an inside source that K2 most likely has a staph infection. Awesome.
Overnight stay now? Must be serious, so K2 is gone for a few weeks.
